Free sample card arrived – TNG Archives and Inscriptions

I like sending away for the Rittenhouse free sample cards. Not quite free since the self addressed stamped envelope you mail in requires 2 envelopes, 2 stamps and a card saver that actually comes out to around $ 1.50 But its just fun to send away for and the joy of getting it back in the mail.

This sample card was for the 2022 Star Trek The Next Generation, Archives and Inscriptions Promo P1 – featuring Captain Jean-Luc Picard.

Anthony Montgomery – MACO Costume

Finally added this Anthony Montgomery costume card to the collection. It was on my have to buy list. Card # C6 produced back in 2005.

I was able to meet Anthony at a convention and got an autographed photo and pic together. What is meaningful about that costume card was it was from the Mirror Universe episode In A Mirror Darkly where Travis was a MACO. The photo I picked to get signed was from that Mirror Universe episode as well so this is a nice pairing.

Dr. Crusher Costume Relic – Chain of Command

Just added this one to my Next Generation Collection. A costume relic from Dr. Crusher from the Episode “Chain of Command”. Card WCC18.

Screen shot from Paramount Plus TNG Season 6 Episode 10

I didn’t get the exact screen grab from the episode but found the scene where the assault team was outside the door where the Metagenic weapons signals were originating from. You can see the scratch on Gate’s face and the same rock formation that was pictured on the trading card.

What is cool about this scene is the cast talked about this at the Calgary Expo April 2012. Michael Dorn was telling the story about this scene being shot on Stage 16 that they called Planet Hell, and the dirt was full of cat poop. LOL

Triangle Security Bits arrived

A major bummer. The triangle shaped tool bits arrived from Amazon. I was able to take off all three of the security screws on the bottom of my Burger King Shuttle Craft but I can’t open it up. The two sides feel like they are snapped in tight together despite taking out the screws. Ugggggg

How rare is this Dave and Busters Card?

Having just been to Dave and Busters to play the Star Trek Coin Pusher Game, I was looking through some cards my niece and brother-in-law gave me a while back since they knew I’m a Trekkie.

I could not find this card on eBay when trying to check on its rarity?

I did find an old article from the Dave and Buster’s Facebook page saying there would be a special card to commemorate the 50th Anniversary of Star Trek and only available for 3 days. Card is dated 2016 so what incredible timing I got this as a gift during those 3 days! Thanks Amy and Gene
