These are very beat up with age and wear but still working! A wonderful part of my childhood was playing with these walkie talkies made by Mego – 1974. Broken and missing antennas I need to try and replace one of these days.
This is a replica of the 1974 Mego Captain Kirk. Re-issued in 2018 by Diamond Select. I actually had an original as a kid but it fell apart long ago. Originals are $100 or much higher depending on the box condition so I was excited when Diamond Select put these out a couple years ago and bought one for my desk 🙂
